The starting point was a big oak tree. We wanted to show a solid tree with roots in the earth and branches going up towards the sky and changes. We quickly unterstood the need to stylize the tree for a contemporary look. The foliage became round, and then oval. We had different ideas for the roots. All along the tree became lighter and lighter, to keep only the absolutely necessary - a few lines.
